Preserving Sharesimg_0958-2

As we go through the season we plan for an abundance in our harvest specifically for those of us who like to can, preserve, sauce and pickle all of the goodness of the season. Nothing better than opening a jar of farm fresh food in the depths of winter. Our preserving share makes the sourcing great food easy, the preserving is up to you.

Each $25 preserving share allows you to receive one case of the harvest when you are ready to go. You can buy as many or as few as you need before the start of the season. This provides you a great value and allows us to know what to produce. An example of what a share offering will be:

  • a 18# flat of field tomatoes
  • ½ bushel of green beans
  • bushel of carrot
  • a bushel of pickling cucumbers with dill

Pick up Locations

For the 2018 season we are excited to be utilizing our newest property at the corner of Jay and Spine in Gunbarrel for a farmers market style pick up. This style pickup will give you some selection/preference for what you pack in your share each week. We’ll also have a veggie swap table to further refine your perfect share of the farm’s bounty.

We are anticipating Thursday to be our pick up day but will confirm the day of the week in early Spring.

Our normal pick time is 4-7pm and shares not picked up by the end of the day, and where prior arrangements have not been made, will be donated to the food bank. If you can not make a pick up, have a friend pick up for you so we keep the goodness in the family.

We have several locations available for pick up. Please note that some pickup locations may change.

  • South Boulder – TBD
  • Niwot – Kilt Farm 8140 Oxford Rd
