Wholesale Information

In 2017 we had a banner year. Our focus for the year was growing food for the wholesale market including such great outlets like Lucky’s Market, Marczyk Fine Foods. Some of our restaurant partners in Boulder include Salt, Colterra, and Arugula and in Denver the Palace Arms, Wayard and Root Down.

We are proud of the diversity and quality of our production in 2017. Our focus is on quality in the field through soil health and nutrition but our secret is post harvesting handling and harvesting to order. We insure you have a high quality product by cleaning, packing and cooling our crops appropriately so you have a better product to use in your business.

We traditionally start our wholesale operation in the early spring, normally in April. Every week we release our availability on Saturday for the upcoming week. In our email communication to our clients we share what is ready to harvest with case packs and prices. Plus we are always looking forward to share with you what we have coming up in the fields. We want to help your menu planning as the season rolls along. Our deliveries go out on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Here is what one of our customers had to say about working with Kilt Farm.

I, Sven Hedenäs, chef de cuisine at Arugula restaurant, has had the pleasure of purchasing produce from Kilt farm the whole season of 2016. As a buyer at a busy Boulder restaurant I have many options, but to be efficient in my restaurant work I have to be selective. Kilt farm has been unusually easy to work with as far as logistics are concerned. And even more important, the quality of product has been at a level not seen much around here. Having grown up in Europe where farmers have generations of experience of where, how and what to grow, and how vegetables look and taste when optimal, local farm produce here is often found lacking. It takes a very special person, dedication and passion to make it special; and at Kilt farm, Boulder has all of that!

Please contact Kilt Farm so we can get growing for you
